Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club Architects

Driftwood offers large homesites, privacy, Hill Country views, vineyard proximity, and close access to Austin. For buyers seeking space, architectural integrity, and long-term value, it is one of the most desirable areas in northern Hays County.

Buyers should understand site topography, sun exposure, well and septic requirements (if applicable), community design standards, and environmental expectations. Working with a site-specific architect early in the process is critical.

ASA designs award-winning custom homes throughout Austin and the Hill Country. We’re known for site-specific architecture that maximizes views, privacy, and long-term livability, without overdesigning the land.

Yes. All new construction and exterior improvements must go through a structured Design Review process. This typically includes a pre-design conference, preliminary review, final approval, and construction observation. Working with an architect experienced in regulated communities can significantly streamline this process.

Approval timelines vary depending on design complexity and submittal completeness. Projects must move through a multi-step review process, and incomplete or late submissions can delay review. Early coordination and guideline integration are key to maintaining schedule.
