Atten Hill III
A rhythmic series of rooflines clad in dark standing-seam metal gives this residence its distinctive silhouette as each peak catches the Hill Country sun at a slightly different angle. Below, walls of textured limestone and neutral stucco anchor the composition, while tall black-framed windows admit generous light and offer clean, unbroken views of the surrounding landscape. Corten steel planters filled with native grasses and agave trace the home’s perimeter, their rusted patina playing off the cool stone and deep bronze rooflines.
At the rear, the architecture steps back to reveal a linear pool with a circular spa, framed by manicured lawn and understated stone paving. Floor-to-ceiling glass dissolves the line between the great room and the outdoor terrace, while soft evening light spills from within, casting a warm glow across the stone facade. The result is a composition that feels crisp and contemporary, shaped by clean geometry and a connection to its landscape.
