Portofino

Located along the golf course in Barton Creek, this contemporary home was designed around the clients’ love of entertaining and their sons’ active lifestyles. The upside down home sits on a sloping lot that incorporates a large sport court in the backyard. The entry opens up to a glass wall with a view and direct access to the backyard for guests.

The lower level includes the sport court, viewing cabana, separate exercise room, media and game room, two boys’ bedrooms, a separate bunk room and a family covered porch for ping pong, a storage closet for sports equipment and an area for watching sports on TV. The main level consists of a separate private wing for the master suite and study. The master bath is designed as one large space, but distinguishes His and Hers sides with separate closets and separate doors into the large shower.

The main level has a large covered outdoor living and dining area, while the main living area is completely open to the dining and kitchen areas. The kitchen is designed for entertaining along with a secondary dirty kitchen around the corner leading to the pantry. There is a small, cozy den for the family to watch movies together. The home provides separate retreats for the clients and their sons, while providing ample space for family time and entertaining guests within the beautiful backdrop of Barton Creek.
