Red Stag Grille
This restaurant is conceived as a contemporary main street landmark—drawing from historic storefront architecture while elevating it through precise, modern detailing. A warm red brick façade establishes a timeless presence along the street, while blackened steel accents and deep window mullions create a bold contrast and sharpen the building’s proportions. The composition is intentionally straightforward, a clean two-story massing with carefully aligned openings, subtle masonry articulation, and a restrained parapet line that reinforces the building’s tailored silhouette.
At the pedestrian level, the design becomes tactile and inviting. Large storefront windows, custom steel canopies, and bracketed supports form a layered streetscape that supports outdoor dining and activates the sidewalk. Material transitions from brick to steel to warm wood soffits and add depth and warmth without visual clutter, allowing craftsmanship to take center stage.
